Since the launch of this website in April 2006 there has been a steady number of e-mails from relatives of crew members and, indeed, former members of the crews of the Halcyons themselves. Details have been included here of those contacts relating to HMS Halcyon, although e-mail addresses are excluded for privacy and to avoid spam messages. J R Woodall Damjan Krstajic Grandson My grandad James Roy Woodall was on the ship HMS Halcyon from 1942 till
1946 and was on Russian convoys. He was born in September 1924 and died in
March 2003.
Kenneth Mahoney Paul Mahoney Son
My father, Kenneth Mahoney, was an able seaman on HMS Halcyon sometime between 1943 and the end of the war.
 
He was a "Devonport rating" and recalls being based at Scapa Flow, but can remember very little more than that. He was born on 2nd August 1925

Henry Law Bob Law Son My father, Henry George Law, served on the HMS Halcyon from 1943 to 1946. He is still alive and living in Walton on The Naze Essex.
He joined the London Fire Brigade following the war and enjoyed a successful 25 year career until retirement. He has fond memories of his time on board the Halcyon.
